Asian Climbing Collective meetup @ Benchmark SF
The Asian Climbing Collective (AC2) meetup hosted at Benchmark in San Francisco was an exciting indoor climbing event open to climbers of all experience levels. AC2 is dedicated to celebrating Asian diaspora culture, finding new climbing partners, sharing beta, and creating safe spaces within the climbing community. At Benchmark, their mission is to create a sustainable “third space”, outside of work and home, where the climbing community can connect, and thrive. The gym, well known for its modern facilities and well made routes, was the perfect location for the AC2 to push their limits and have a blast doing it.
But the fun didn't stop there - after a full day of climbing, AC2 members and other attendees were treated to refreshing beers from Match Point Brewing. The Mandarin Wheat Ale was a great way to unwind and socialize as the sun set and prizes like chalk bags and membership passes were raffled.
